imageTech giants i.e. Facebook, Apple, Microsoft etc are constantly exploring newer avenues, Google is also following the league and laid out its biggest focus points for the future.

According to "Founders' Letter" from Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai this year's said in a blog post, “Looking to the future, the next big step will be for the very concept of the “device” to fade away.”

“Over time, the computer itself—whatever its form factor—will be an intelligent assistant helping you through your day. We will move from mobile first to an AI (Artificial Intelligence) first world,” he added.

Pichai’s Google has been involved in AI and related technology i.e. the machine learning, on which it has been working for years, the machine learning software is already involved in web services and apps such as Google Photos and Google Translate, as per Bloomberg.

As per Business Insider, Google believes that its AI services should be made accessible on all types of platforms i.e. phones and watches to the speakers in your living room and so on, one which understands your situation and provide exactly the kind of information you require.

“You should be able to move seamlessly across Google services in a natural way, and get assistance that understands your context, situation, and needs—all while respecting your privacy and protecting your data.”

Pichai than lauded Google’s recent achievements i.e. Google Photos, “Photos launched less than a year ago and already has more than 100 million monthly active users,” he said.

Photos was launched to simplify the process of organizing people photos and videos, keep them safe, and be able to find them when they want to, on whatever device they are using.
