Imran Nazir is returning to cricket
Pakistan opening batsman Imran Nazir would be making his much anticipated return to cricket, as the fans would finally get a chance to see him in action at Multan Cricket Stadium for the Multan Sultans, to play Multan da Muqabla.
“Hello guys! I am Imran Nazir Sultans I am coming to Multan on February 4, to play a friendly match at the Multan Cricket Stadium,” Nazir said in a video post on social media.
Nazir was one of the most popular cricketing stars during his heydays, thanks to his hitting abilities and fielding prowess that made him an instant fan favorite.
The hard hitting batsmans' promising career came to an unexpected halt due to injuries and fitness issues. Fortunately, the hard hitting batsman has managed to recover from the injury and was training.
Earlier it was reported that Nazir would be seen in action at the upcoming edition of Pakistan Super League. Nazir said he would surely return to cricket, if he deemed himself fit for the game.
“I am thankful to all my fans, for their support and prayers, which have allowed me to restart my career,” the cricketer said.
Nazir last represented Pakistan internationally in 2012 but was a regular at the domestic circuit until 2014, when he suffered a career ending injury.
