Qasim Zia, head of the PPPP Punjab, has criticised the recent statement of Zulfiqar Khosa, President, PML-N, in Multan where his remarks about corruption in party workers being allowed by party head Benazir Bhutto was made.
The Punjab PPPP head addressing the press conference here today (Saturday) lamented remarks of Khosa and said that the matter would be taken up in the meeting of ARD on Sunday at Lahore.
He said it was unfortunate that certain remarks by Khwaja Saad Rafiq earlier and now by Zulfiqar Khosa were made.
Qasim Zia referring to remarks termed them unfortunate and said these were uttered at a crucial juncture and were likely to create rift in the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy (ARD).
He said making dents in the ARD were unacceptable and the leadership of the PML-N must desist from making statements against their party leader, Qasim Zia demanded.
