The Lahore High Court (LHC) adjourned the proceedings in a petition filed by Registrar LHC against the encroachments in and around Chief Justice House.
The petitioner contended that the respondents illegally erected houses near the Chief Justice House, which are liable to be demolished.
He said that the respondents were served notices time and again but they abstained from removing the encroachments.
He, therefore, prayed to the court to direct the respondents to remove the encroachments immediately.
