Begum Zarrin Musharraf, mother of President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf, has said that it is her hope and ardent wish that her son, General Pervez Musharraf obtains for himself the honour and distinction of obtaining a solution of the Kashmir issue.
In a repeat telecast of the interview she gave to a private TV channel sometime ago, on the occasion of Mothers Day on Sunday, Begum Zarrin Musharraf was quoted as saying that her ardent wish and prayer was that her son obtains for himself the unique honour of obtaining a solution of the Kashmir issue.
ARY Channel also carried the message to all mothers by Begum Zarrin Musharraf, who reminded all women that their first duty is to bring up their children in a sound and healthy manner, giving them attention that is due to them.
She said that the attention given by mothers to their children was crucial to their making into citizens of tomorrow and contributing to the nation's progress.
Begum Zarrin Musharraf also said that she was very happy with all three daughter-in-laws that she has but she stayed more with Sehba Musharraf and General Pervez Musharraf these days.
She prayed for the safety and welfare of all the people of Pakistan while praying for the success of her son, President Pervez Musharraf.
Mothers Day has been celebrated internationally including Pakistan and most TV and Radio channels have run special programmes highlighting the day on Sunday.
