Pakistan, Afghanistan and United States will hold tripartite talks in Jeju Island, Republic of Korea, on Sunday for reviewing their on-going work and co-operation in the economic sector.
The talks will take place on the sideline of the on-going annual meeting of the Asian Development Bank's Board of Governors, being held there.
Finance Minister Shaukat Aziz and the Afghan Finance Minister Dr Ashraf Ghani have already arrived in Jeju Island. They would represent their countries at the talks.
The US will be represented by its Deputy Secretary of State on Financial Affairs.
Aziz said told the newsmen during his stay in Beijing that Pakistan had established structural arrangements with the US for its effective participation in the reconstruction of Afghanistan.
The three countries, he said, hold regular contacts for strengthening their co-operation.
Pakistan, he said, wanted to make its substantial contribution to the reconstruction work in Afghanistan as well as to enhance their bilateral trade.
He hoped that the tripartite-level talks would help achieve the desired objectives.
Pakistan, the minister said, attached great importance to its relations with the brotherly country of Afghanistan, and recalled they had taken important decisions during the meeting of Pak-Afghan Joint Economic Commission (JEC) held in Kabul recently.
