Public sector Ufone cellular company has entered into international roaming services with cellular operators Finnet Finland, Netcom Norway, Celtel Tanzania & Madgascar.
A spokesman said Ufone currently offered international roaming at the most competitive rates in the market, "The company is aggressively working towards extending its international roaming coverage to provide global connectivity to its post-paid customers travelling abroad for business or vacations; Ufone has already commercially launched international roaming services with many other major operators in Malaysia, Iraq, Nigeria, Brunei, Iran, Afghanistan, Iceland, Turkey, China, Bulgaria, Singapore, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Bahrain, Kuwait, Holland, Poland, Qatar, Kenya, Yemen, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Australia etc.
