The Fifth international Kashmir peace conference entitled 'The Kashmir dispute and building a peaceful South Asia' will be held on July 14, at the Cannon House Office Building. The Conference is being organised by the Association of Humanitarian Lawyers and Kashmiri American Council (KAC). Executive Director KAC, Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai Friday said that a number of noted scholars, historians, lawyers, diplomats, intellectuals, civil rights workers, politicians had been invited to attend.
The speakers include Sardar Sikander Hayat Khan Prime Minister Azad Kashmir, Professor Mitra Chenoy School of International Studies Nehru University New Delhi, Nasir H Chattha chairman Kashmir Committee, Pakistan Ambassador to US Jehangir Karamat, Dr Hameeda Banu Kashmir University, Yusuf Buch former Advisor to the UN Secretary General and others.
