ISE index down by 83.20 points

Bears strengthened their positions on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where selling-pressure intensified in trend-setters amid decrease in index. ISE-10 index was down by 83.20 points, as the index moved from 2,851.37 to 2,768.17 points. The overall turnover amounted to 391,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 322,500 shares.
Total 111 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (82) closed in negative territory, 29 landed in plus zone, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels.
The turnover of OGDCL was 155,600 shares as compared to previous volume of 104,000 shares. The overall volume of Pakistan Petroleum was 86,800 shares. The volume of PTCL was 26,500 shares.
