President General Pervez Musharraf will context the next Presidential election with the support of progressive parties. Addressing a news conference in Quetta on Friday, Information Minister Muhammad Ali Durrani said the people of Balochistan fully support President Pervez Musharraf's agenda of peace, progress and prosperity of the Province.
He said all those forces, which love Pakistan want to help the people of Balochistan in their march towards progress and prosperity. Muhammad Ali Durrani said the people of Balochistan have rejected the threats and calls of the anti-Pakistan elements, giving a clear message that they want peace and development of the province.
To a question, the Minister said Women's protection bill has now become law and no amendment could be possible at this stage. He said the presence of more than sixty thousand people in the public meeting of President Pervez Musharraf shows that the people Balochistan fully support his policies.
Later, he said the steps taken by the President for the progress and prosperity of Balochistan will bring peace in the province and improve the lives of the people.
