The concluding session of a four-day training workshop titled "Deem-Haq", organised by Al-Mawarid, an Islamic education research organisation, was held in the provincial capital, where well-known Islamic scholar Javed Ahmed Ghamidi was the chief guest.
Ghamidi at the end of the workshop distributed certificates and answered their questions. Earlier, the workshop was addressed by Dr Khalid Zahir, Rafi Mufti, Sajjid Hameed, Moez Amjad, Talib Mohsin and other Islamic scholars.
Al-Mawarid has announced to hold a series of workshops in different areas of the country in order to educate people about the teachings of Islam.
The second workshop of the series would be held in Karachi in the first week of January 2007.
Al-Mawarid has been working in the field of Islamic educational research and publications for the last several years. This institution also publishes various Islamic journals both in English and Urdu and its services in Islamic research and education are acknowledged internationally.
