The flight schedule of private sector airline, Airblue was disrupted when two of its aircraft developed technical fault resulting in 3 to 8 hours delay in flights to Islamabad, Peshawar, Faisalabad and Dubai on Saturday.
According to a spokesman of the airline, one of the aircraft was ready to take off to Islamabad on Saturday morning when it developed some technical fault while it was about to take off. The airline suspended the flight for safety reasons and the passengers were later accommodated on alternate flights.
The Airblue spokesman said that the schedule will normalise by tomorrow and all flights will operate as normal. He said that maximum number of passengers, who had given their telephone numbers at the time of reservation of tickets, were informed through the automatic information system about delayed operation of flights.
