Call to eradicate corruption

Punjab Anti-Corruption Establishment Director General Muhammad Aslam Ghumman has urged officers and employees to use their powers to combat corruption in provincial departments and perform their duties with commitment.
In his speech to the department staff in an annual inspection of the regional office, Ghumman hailed the performance of the Lahore Region but ordered it to improve. He said the Lahore Region had established a record recovery of Rs 2 billion in the current year - a clear evidence of its good performance. He also ordered relief to complainants on priority basis and deal with inquiries.
