KCCI elections 2008-09: Anjum Nisar, Jawed Bilwani, Mohammad Ali elected unopposed

Election Committee of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has declared Anjum Nisar, Jawed Bilwani and Mohammed Ali elected unopposed as President, Senior Vice President and Vice President respectively of the chamber for the year2008-09.
The election committee received only three nominations on November 24, the last day for filing nominations, against three vacant seats of the office bearers and their nomination papers were found in order. The Annual General Meeting of the chamber will be held on November 29.
It is worth mentioning that Anjum Nisar , Jawed Bilwani and Mohammed Ali were elected as President, Senior Vice President and Vice President of the chamber respectively after the resignation of President Shamim Ahmed Shamsi, Senior Vice President Iftikhar Ahmed Shaikh and Vice President Haroon Agar in September this year.
It is also important to recall here that Business Recorder in its November 19 issue had predicted that Anjum Nisar, Jawed Bilwani and Mohammed Ali will be re-elected to complete one year as president, senior vice president and vice president.
