The participants of the procession on Chup Tazia to be taken out on 8th Rabbiul-Awwal falling on 12th of February, have been advised to get stickers for the vehicles for security reasons.
According to a handout of the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Traffic Capital City Police, Karachi, the owners of the vehicles will have to get stickers for display on wind screen of their vehicles to participate Chup Tazia Processions to be taken out from Nishtar Park to Hussainian Iranian Imam Bargah Kharadar and towards Noor Bagh Musafir Khana Moosa Lane on 8th Rabbiul-Awwal.
The stickers will be issued from 10th to 11th February from office of the DIGP/Traffic CCP, Karachi (Traffic Security Branch) Police Headquarters Garden. The stickers will also be issued to the media and ambulances. Moreover, scouts, social welfare organisation, Sabils vehicles should submit their application form along with attested photocopies of documents (CNIC Licence, registration Book etc) at scouts Rabta Council Office at Qasar-e-Muissayab, Rizvia Society (Contact No 0213-5499955) by 11th of February and get their stickers.
It was also pointed out that no stickers would be issued to any vehicle except Ambulance, Scouts, Social Welfare Organisation Sabils, Nazar and Niaz distributing vehicles or to any other emergency vehicles. The original and photostat copy of the following documents may also be provided to the scrutiny committee for security purpose. Registration book of the vehicle, CNIC of the vehicle owners; driving licence and 3 attested photographs of the driver and letter of the owner/organiser will also be required, it was announced.
