Chairman, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has said that days of political mafias are numbered and his party would build a new Pakistan to provide justice and opportunities to all. Addressing PTI's Women Convention here on Sunday, Khan said that PTI after coming into power would declare 'education emergency' in the country and take measures for protecting the rights of women.
He also pledged to bring back the country's wealth deposited in foreign banks by corrupt mafia after plundering. Imran said that the Pakistan had everything that could turn it into a country where foreigners would prefer to come for employment but regretted that corrupt mafia was not allowing this to happen.
He said that women of the country had decided to bring change and PTI would make this happen through a political revolution and no one would be able to face the 'tsunami.' PTI Chairman paid glowing tribute to the mothers of the country on Mother Day and said that the role of mother was very important in the society and nothing could replace it. He also paid tribute to his mother for raising him in a manner that enable him to distinguish between good and evil. Khan promised that his party would ensure after coming into power that women get their due share in the property for which legal assistance would be provided to the poor women.
The women and party workers of the twin cities as well as various part of the country attended the women convention organised to observe 'Women Day'. Some participants changed slogans of 'Go Zardari Go'.
