The cold-blooded murder of member of ABAD Salman Azam of Keshodia Builders and Developers has created a panic among the builders' community and it is becoming very difficult for them to continue their work under these horrific conditions where the very life of a builder is not safe.
It is pertinent to mention that recently the incidents of land grabbing and encroachments have increased to an alarming level. When these cases are brought to the knowledge of police authorities and the culprits are named, the builders receive threats.
We demand that a high-level enquiry be initiated and ABAD should be taken into confidence at all stages of this enquiry. We also demand that strict measures be taken to ensure that incidents of this grave nature are not repeated. The security measures should be beefed up and a strategy is devised which should provide maximum security to members of builder community.
