Makai and Juwar went up on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday in process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Makai was higher by Rs 75 to Rs 2675-2700, Juwar followed same pattern, gaining Rs 200 to Rs 2400-2500, Masoor Dall Canada best type shed Rs 200 to Rs 6700, other items maintained overnight levels, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh good type gained Rs 50 to Rs 3550, Irri while (broken) also picked up same amount to Rs 2700-2750, they added. Prices on the seeds side did not move any side in process of trading, they said.
