ISE index improves by 23.69 points

Bulls dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 23.69 points as the Index moved from 4,415.83 to 4,439.52 points on Wednesday. The overall turnover amounted to 91,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 19,500 shares.
Total 141 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (90) closed in positive territory, 51 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 60,000 shares. The volume of PTCL was 15,000 shares. The volume of Maple Leaf Cement was 10,000 shares.
