RAC selects MUET proposal

Another breakthrough MUET has achieved: That the Research Advisory Committee (RAC) has selected our proposal at the PSSP Fourth Research Competitive Grants Conference on "Sustainable Energy System: an Integrated Model and Decision Aid Framework For Electricity Generation to Support Policy Making Decisions" for partial funding.
Dr David Orden, Senior Research Fellow at International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPR) Washington DC congratulated Professor Dr Mohammad Aslam Uqaili and Dr Khanji, principal Investigators of the said USAID funded project. Besides, over 325 applications were received and each proposal was scored in the initial reviews, and the selection committee nominated 86 of those evaluated for further review. Of these, 42 were invited to present their proposals at a conference June 2014 and the RAC selected 35 of these semi-finalists for CGP research awards. MUET won the competition gracefully.
