A leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N Balochistan, Ghulam Dastagir Khan Kakar on Monday strongly condemned the attack on Pakistan Television (PTV) headquarters in Islamabad.
In his statement issued here, he said that PTV Headquarters premises are owned by the state and not a political party." Attacking PTV headquarters building is similar to challenging the writ of the state and this act is parallel to insurgency," he said.
He questioned whether it was democracy what the activists of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) was doing in Islamabad on the excuse of protest. "Both parties including PTI and PAT have been damaging the national installations and tarnishing the image of the country."
