PPP Punjab top leadership visited the rain-affected areas on Saturday and shared the hardships faced by the people due to heavy rains. PPP Punjab President along with PPP Lahore President Samina Khalid Ghurki visited the rain-affected areas and inquired about the miseries of affected families. It may be noted that co-chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari had directed his party leadership to visit the rain-hit areas and bring the people out of trouble.
PPP Punjab leadership said the PPP has always been supportive to the people of Pakistan since day one. He said the people have unstinting trust on the PPP and the leadership would not leave them alone in these difficult times. Torrential rains during last three days have inundated the streets of Lahore city with water. Even many areas are yet presenting a look of pools despite no rain since last many hours.
