Paramilitary forces on Tuesday killed 15 separatist insurgents and lost one of their own men during a gun battle in a remote area, officials said. The clash took place at Basima, some 240 kilometres (150 miles) south-west of Quetta. "At least 15 miscreants were killed during a clash with security forces," a spokesman for Frontier Corps told AFP.
"An FC soldier was martyred and three others were wounded in the fighting," the official said. Local intelligence and administration officials confirmed the clash and casualties.
