PCGA announces revised election schedule

The election for the Chairman and two vice Chairmen of Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA) will be held on October 15 in Multan as per instructions of Director General Trade Organisation (TO). Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association's (PCGA) Central Executive Committee had announced the revised schedule for election 2015-16.
This schedule was unanimously approved at a meeting chaired by Haji Hafeez Anwar and attended by Senior Vice Chairman Ramesh Lal, Vice Chairman Rao Sadaruddin, MianJaved Tariq ,Chaudhry Waheed Akhtar, Sheikh Asim Saeed, Haji Muhammad Younas, Mukhtar Ahmed Baloch, Shehzad Ali Khan, Amanullah Qureshi, Ghulam Mustafa Khandwa ,Rana Naveed Ahmed, Chaudhry Naeem Ahmed , Chaudhry Khalid Rafiq, Zahid Islam,Mukhtar Ahmed Chaudhry, Khawaja Atique-urehman, Kashif Rasul Khan, Muhammad Iftikhar and Malik Muhammad Ibrahim.Secretary General PCGA Asif Khalil also joined them.
An election committee headed by Sajjad Hussain Goraya, Chief Election Commissioner, Khawaja Muhammad Farooq and Mehfooz Ahmed Bajwa has been supervising the process of election. Muhammad Asif Khalil, secretary general of PCGA and Tauqeer Shah are serving as returning officer and deputy returning officer respectively. Decision of the election commission can be challenged before the Director General Trade Organisation on October 5 (tomorrow) and it would also be decided same day. Final voter list would be displayed on October 6th. Nomination papers against the vacant seats of executive Committee can be submitted on October 7. and final list of the candidate after completion of the process of scrutiny. Candidatures can be withdrawn on October 10 and then final list of candidates would be issued. Election for the executive council will be held on October 12. Nomination papers for the seats of chairman, vice chairmen would be received on October 13 and scrutiny of the paper would be held same day. The final list of the candidates will be displayed on October 14. Election will be held on October 15 while meeting of executive council will also be held same day.
