Culture Committee, Peshawar Press Club (PPC) in collaboration with Culture Journalists Forum (CJP), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized a Mushaira Jeshn-e-Baharan with title Peace and Love here in the Zubair Mir Hall of the club. Renowned poet and writer Professor Aser Mangal presided over the mushaira while famous Urdu language poet Aziz Ejaz and Regional Director, Radio Pakistan Peshawar, Laiq Zada Laiq were chief guests while Professor Dr Abasin Yousafzai performed the duty of moderator.
Speaking on the occasion, President, Culture Journalists Forum, Ihtesham Toru highlighted the purpose and objectives of the mushaira and said that the forum is organizing a provincial level literature festival, which will be participated by the poets of different languages and scholars. Through the resolution, the participants also demanded the restoration of Jeshn-e-Khyber and formal launching of Jeshn-e-Baharan.
