Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has inaugurated different projects in Multan on Saturday and laid the foundation stone. "Provincial ministers, assembly members, party office-bearers and concerned authorities were attended the ceremony, which was organized at Circuit House Multan," disclosed a CM's spokesperson.
The CM inaugurated Hepatitis Treatment Centre in Nishtar Hospital Multan. This project has been completed with a cost of Rs560 million.
During his visit to Multan, he laid the foundation stones of Pharmacy and Store Block in Nishtar Hospital Multan, Synthetic Turf Hockey Ground and Regional Office of Punjab Public Service Commission, which will cost Rs350 million, Rs160 million and Rs250 million, respectively.
He also inspected the vehicles of dengue brigade as well as anti-dengue desk set up for creating awareness among the masses about dengue. He took a keen interest in anti-dengue desk and asked questions from the doctors and staff present there. While inspecting the anti-dengue mobile unit, he said that the Punjab government is fully active for rooting out dengue.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of 780th 'urs' of Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya, the Chief Minister visited the shrine and performed 'ghusal' ritual. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi was also present.
