Hamid Ismail Foundation (HIF) has installed a reverse osmosis (RO) plant at Govt Boys and Girls Primary School in Shanti Nagar, Karachi. The founder of HIF Hamid Ismail said he wants to help improve the quality of life of people living in the under privileged localities.
The organisation has already installed two water treatment units, RO plants in Shanti Nagar area of the metropolis. "It's heartbreaking to think that people are still deprived of basic necessities like clean drinking water in these parts of the city. Being one of the most affected countries by an acute water shortage; our immediate mission has to be to provide this basic survival need to our people," he said.
HIF also inaugurated Hamid Ismail Street at Shanti Nagar, where they had worked on cleanliness, installed new lights, and painted the houses; bringing life to the state of the street.
