Rebuilding houses: seven-day notices served

The Capital Development Authority's (CDA) Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday served seven days notices on those affectees of Sector E-12, who have rebuilt houses on the CDA /state land. Affectees of Mauza Behkar Fateh Bakhsh have also been intimated to demolish these rebuilt houses at their own within seven days; otherwise, an operation would be conducted to demolish these rebuilt houses.

In addition, the Enforcement Directorate conducted another operation against the illegal encroachments on a plot in Sector I-11. The said plot was allotted for establishment of a biogas plant. After the operation by the CDA and removal of encroachments from the plot, its possession was handed over to Islamabad Capital Territory administration. Moreover, two recently constructed illegal washrooms and one kitchen were also demolished in Faisal Colony opposite to Chenab Market.
