KARACHI: Three people including a woman lost their lives in separate incidents of firing in the city on Monday morning, said rescue sources.
As per details a woman was shot dead near Disco Morr in North Karachi when a stray bullet from unknown direction penetrated her body. She was identified as Saima, 27 and was resident of same area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Another person was gunned down when unidentified armed men opened fire at him in Nazimabad no: 1. He sustained multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot. He was identified as Qamar Naqvi, about 28 years old, and was resident of Rizvia society. The deceased was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico- legal formalities.
A bullet-riddled dead body was found from Aram Bagh area in the limits of Aram Bagh police station.
The body had torture marks, while hands and feet were tied with the rope, said the rescue sources.
The identity of victim was not ascertained till the filing of the report. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
