NAWABSHAH: Partial strike was observed on the call of Mutehda Qoumi Movement to observe Youm-e-Sog on the killing of party workers at Karachi.
Liaquat Market, Mohni Bazar, Masjd Road, Kutchehry Road, Market Road, Manuabad and adjacent areas remained closed while markets and shops on Sakrand Road, hospital Road and part of Gharibabad remained open.
The other inter-city transport partially remained off road due to which commuters faced difficulties.
Attendance in schools remained thin, however no untoward incident was reported from any part of the district.
