KARACHI: The Karachi police in their drive against criminals, arrested 39 accused during the past 24 hours.
A police statement on Wednesday said that those arrested included one absconder, one proclaimed offender and four alleged dacoits.
It further pointed out that 24 weapons of different calibres were recovered from their possession.
Action was also initiated against 91 motorcyclists for violating the ban on pillion riding and against three persons for using tinted glasses, fancy number plates on their vehicles.
