Dhoni wants his teammates to work on their weaknesses before the big bash against Pakistan. He wants the bowlers to improve remarkably before the face-off to be held on Sunday February 15, 2015 at Adelaide, Oval.
India has been winning against their biggest rivals from last five World Cup matches, but Pakistan’s growth and preparation brought worries for India and its supporters.
Dhoni call this match as a ‘high-voltage’ match where they need to level up their performance to get good results. According to new format, only two fielders are allowed outside the 30-yard circle. So, it will be good if the bowlers don’t give away free scores during the match in the first 10 overs.
Dhoni said, “We have to try our best, and that's what it's all about. It's not really about stats. As far as the preparation in the dressing room is concerned, it looks just fantastic. When we play Pakistan, there's definitely more intensity on the field and with a lot of fans being around, I think it will be a perfect scenario for everyone to raise their level of performance,” Indian media reported.
While discussing about the winner he thinks that it will be difficult to predict. While on his team preparation for the World Cup he told media that all 15 members are fit and ready for the face-off, it’s just Ishaant Sharma who is missing in the squad.
