ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court issued notices to the respondents in a plea seeking confinement orders of Zaki ur Rahman Lakhvi,main accuse of Mumbai terrorists' attack, illegitimate.
One-judge bench of Justice Noor ul Haq Qureshi also sought reply from the Interior Ministry, District Magistrate and SSP Islamabad, respondents on the matter till March 5.
Rizwan Abbasi counsel for Lakhvi, apprised the court that earlier the court had declared same petition as infructous so he had filed a fresh petition against the detention order issued by District Magistrate, dated February 13, 2015.
The court was adjourned for March 5.
