Handsome gains on Islamabad Stock Exchange

Equities scored handsome gains under the lead of hot favourite on the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bulls snatched the floor from the bears amid increase in index.
ISE network index showed an increase of 60.76 points as the price-based indicator moved from 9,971.55 to 10,032.31 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 4,390,600 shares as compared with the previous volume of 3,325,300 shares.
Total 158 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (97) closed in positive territory, 60 showed negative signs while one company remained pegged to its overnight levels.
The volume of Hubco was 1,087,000 shares as compared with the previous turnover of 803,500 shares.
The turnover of OGDCL was 1,004,500 shares as compared with the previous volume of 1,012,000 shares. The volume of Pakistan Oilfields was 695,800.
