Advisor Home to Sindh Chief Minister, Aftab Ahmed Shaikh has stressed the need for paying special attention to community policing system and its expansion throughout the province on a permanent basis.
He was addressing a meeting held to review law and order, traffic problems here on Friday.
The advisor observed that sometimes police had to face difficulties in controlling the crimes because of shortage of manpower and growing population.
It is, therefore, imperative to have the co-operation of area people to help eliminate the crimes to a possible extent. In the meeting it was suggested to recover security charges for providing police security at marriage halls and service charges against deployment of police at places other than police stations.
It was decided to undo the park development at roundabouts in view of growing traffic accidents.
