Britain should have an exportable wheat surplus of 3.8 million tonnes in 2004/05 (July-June), up from 2.3 million estimated for the current season, the UK's largest farmer-owned grain co-operative, Grain-farmers, said on Tuesday.
"The UK should have an exportable wheat surplus 3.8 million tonnes compared to a more normal 3.2 million tonne figure," the company said in a statement.
