Rs 90 million being spent on livestock output

Provincial parliamentary secretary for livestock Mian Khalid Mehmood has said an amount of Rs 90 million is being spent on livestock production programme while another amount of Rs 80 million has been allocated for education and training in this sector.
Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday, Mian Khalid said that livestock sector had been given top priority by the present government.
The breed improvement project through progeny tested bulls at Khushab, Lahore, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Sahiwal, Sargodha and Khanewal would be completed with an allocation of Rs 30 million.
