CSCE coffee futures settled lower Thursday on all-around selling in the ring after an early attempt to breach Wednesday's high of 72.70 cents failed, floor sources said.
Most-active July coffee finished 1.05 cents lower to 71.15 cents a lb., near the lower half of its 70.70-72.60 cent range.
May arabica lost the same to close at 69.15 cents a lb, trading from 68.90 to 70.75 cents a lb.
The rest of the board settled from 0.80 to 1.10 cents weaker.
The market continues to keep an eye on the weather situation in Brazil as the winter season which officially begins on June 21.
