Fourteen people died and four others were injured when a light aircraft crashed on Thursday in southern Sudan, several aid officials said in Kenya on Friday.
"There was a plane crash in Jiech (in western Upper Nile) at the end of yesterday afternoon. We flew in this morning. Four wounded persons, including the pilot we believe was from New Zealand, were evacuated, the co-pilot having been killed in the accident," International Committee for Red Cross (ICRC) delegate Rob Drouen told AFP by phone.
