The Karachi Port handled 97,371 tonnes of cargo including 84,392 tonnes import and 12,979 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 26,025 tonnes dry and 71,346 tonnes liquid cargo.
Five ships namely Hyundai Stride, Keefan, MT Johar, Safmarine Pakistan and Colombo sailed out to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Gulf Fourtune, Chem Baltic, MT Shalamar and Safmarine Pakistan are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Gulf Fourtune, Chem Baltic, Sunniva and Yanaseni expected to sail on Friday, while two vessels viz Sinar Bontang and MT Shalamar are expected to sail on Saturday.
MV Commuter due to arrive on Friday, while two vessels viz Multan and Banglar Mamata are due to arrive on Saturday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 35,272 tonnes including 30,699 tonnes import and 4,573 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Friday.
The cargo comprised of 1,620 tonnes carbon oil; 15,256 tonnes coal and 18,362 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three ships namely CV Serena, MT Ecoref-1 and Giovanni are expected to sail on Friday afternoon.
Container vessel Safmarine Pakistan is currently at the outer anchorage.
Five ships namely CV Dubai, Wan Hai, Hotaka Maru, Athenoula and Nur Al Jubail are due to arrive on Saturday.
