Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar M. Khan has constituted a three-member commission to prepare a revised constitution of the PCB.
The commission is comprised of former judge of Supreme Court of Pakistan Justice Karamat Nazir Bhandari (Chairman), Zahid Hussain Hamid MNA (Member) and Asghar Haider (Secretary).
The commission will examine the anomalies in the existing constitution in order to prepare a workable and practical constitution. The PCB also decided to appoint PCB Regional Development Officers (RDOs) in each of the nine regions of the country.
The RSO's would oversee all cricket developments in their respective regions, to establish close liaison with the district associations to assist their activities at club, schools and women cricket level.
The RDOs will also organise and monitor regional coaching academies and also ensure that coaches, umpires and grounds men are fulfilling their tasks.
The board also adopted a standard operating procedure for former test players and administrators being given privileges for test matches and ODIs.
