Brazilian sugar vessels line-up falls

The line-up of vessels to load sugar in Brazil's ports nearly halved to 20 from 38 last week, shipping agent Williams said Thursday.
In a weekly report, Williams said 15 vessels were lined up in the southern port of Santos, down from 21 last week.
In the north-east, there were two vessels lined up in the port of Maceio and one ship in Recife, down from six and seven ships, respectively, last week.
The harvesting of another forecast record cane crop is accelerating in Brazil's key centre-south region. Santos accounted for 75 percent of sugar tonnage being loaded in Brazil's ports, with Maceio garnering 13 percent and Recife 7 percent.
