Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) which plans to hold next Expo 2006 from March 30 to April 2, 2006 has invited views and comments from trade bodies and all stake holders on the proposed date. According to EPB official here on Saturday, the Bureau was interested to know the views of all stakeholders for holding this mega event at the proposed date. He said that previously, some of the trade bodies had expressed their reservation on the date as it was clashing with some major international events.
"This time we have decided to invite suggestions from trade bodies and exhibitors to tell us which date it should be. If the majority supports our date or proposes another date we will hold the exhibition at a date which will be acceptable to vast majority of the exhibitors," the official said.
