An accountability court on Saturday recorded the statement of investigating officer (IO) in a reference against acting president PML-N Javed Hashmi and adjourned the proceedings till April 16 for cross examination on his statement. The accused has been facing the charges of corruption and making illegal assets in excess of his income. Another accountability court will take up the proceedings in a reference against federal minister Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat on April 4.
