Four paramilitary soldiers were injured when militants fired rockets on Pakistan security forces positioned in a restive tribal area bordering Afghanistan, officials said Tuesday.
One soldier was hurt in a pre-dawn rocket attack on a checkpost on Tuesday in Gosht, some 10 kilometres (six miles) east of Miranshah, the main town of North Waziristan tribal district, a security official told AFP.
Three other paramilitary troops were injured late on Monday when rockets landed on the Tahl checkpost in the region bordering Afghanistan, the official said on condition of anonymity.
Separately suspected militants fired rockets at paramilitary troops camp in Mirali and Razmak areas of North Waziristan late on Monday, but there were no casualties, he said.
