From one branch to another takes 3 days!

I have seen the advertisement of different banks in the newspapers offering interbank transfer facility through ATM card and whereas usually the bank (not mentioning name here but offering same facility) took three to four days for transfer of salary from my company's account to my account (within same the bank and city).
When a bank took three to four days for transfer of funds from one location to another within the same bank then instant interbank funds' transfer facility looks nothing but just an imagination.
