AJK Prime Minister, Sardar Sikander Hayat Khan has said that Kashmir issue has now entered into a decisive stage and it would be resolved according to the aspirations of people of Kashmir. Addressing a large public meeting in Mirpur Sunday night he lauded President Pervez Musharraf's efforts for highlighting the Kashmir issue on the international forums.
He said that at this crucial point there is a need of such strong government in Azad Kashmir that does not compromise on ideology of Pakistan and accession to Pakistan. He appreciated the start of Rawalakot-Poonch bus service and that more Kashmiris would be able to travel to meet their relatives from both sides of LoC.
Talking about the raising of the Mangla Dam project the Prime Minister said that it would bring prosperity and development in the region. He said that 50 percent of the royalty would go to Mirpur.
Among others Supreme Head of All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan and President All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference, Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan also spoke on the occasion.
