Mehfil-e-Mushaira

The Old Ravians Union (ORU) organised a Mehfil-e-Mushaira in the Bokhari auditorium of the GC University Lahore, in which poets presented their poetic verses.
The renowned poets who presented their poetic diction include Dr Zahid Ameer, Kishwar Naheed, Farrukh Zuhra Gillani, Javed Qureshi, Yasmeen Hameed, Amjad Islam Amjad, Munno Bhai, Javed Shaheen, Mehmood Sham, Khursheed Rizvi, Kishwar Naheed, Anwar Masood, Shahzad Ahmed, Zafar Iqbal, Ahmed Faraz, Munir Niazi and Professor Asghar Nadeem Syed.
The Vice-chancellor GC University Lahore Professor Dr Khalid Aftab said on the occasion that GCU has the enriched traditions of holding such kind of activities in a befitting manner and this Mehfil is a part of such activities.
President Old Ravians Union Kamran Lashari in his address dilated on the importance of Mehfil-e-Mushaira and thanked the poets for ensuring their presence at this event.
