Baqai Institute of Diabetology and Endocrinology (BIDE) here on Saturday organised a special ceremony to felicitate Prof Fariduddin Baqai who was only a few days back endowed with Life Achievement Award by President Pervez Musharraf.
Dr Abdul Basit, BIDE Director speaking on the occasion said it was a cause of immense pleasure and pride that three citizens of Karachi namely Abdul Sattar Edhi, Prof Adibul Hasan Rizvi and Prof. Fariduddin Baqai (Chancellor of Baqai Medical University) were honoured for their services to the humanity.
Life Achievement Award were presented to the three along with other distinguished Pakistanis on eve of Health Expo held in Islamabad recently.
