'Mybank giving profit as per SBP instructions'

Mybank Ltd, Chairman Iqbal Alimohamed has said that his bank is sharing profit with its account holders as per instructions of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). He was talking to the newsmen after the inauguration of Mybank model branch here at DHA on Monday.
Iqbal pointed out that a number of local leading commercial banks were not properly sharing profit with its account holders. "In fact, most account holders of these banks do not have information about increase in rate of return because of augmented interest rates," he added.
He informed the newsmen that state-of-the-art computer system was being introduced in the bank, which would enable them to extend online services from next year. "ATM network of the bank would also be launched subsequently," he added.
